Tudo não passou de um mero acaso.
A idéia inicial nunca foi escrever um livro, todo planejamento e as ideias foram acontecendo e tomando forma um ano depois do término da aventura.
Eu não portava nenhum tipo de computador durante a viagem, portanto o livro foi feito a partir da leitura de cadernos escritos durante o percurso. Foram 8 cadernos manuscritos, baseados em toda a loucura e calmaria pelas quais passei naquele ano.
Depois da leitura dos manuscritos, tudo foi redigido para o computador. Num processo longo - e inúmeras noites depois - o livro foi tomando forma.
Pelos cantos da Europa não é um guia de viagem, ele é um relato de aventureiro, uma carta aberta e sincera dos acontecimentos, e desacontecimentos, pelos quais Lucas e sua fiel companheira de duas rodas passaram, pedalando, e se perdendo, pelos cantos da Princesa Europa.
